The deputy delegate of the Government, María Rivas, was in charge of inaugurating today, together with the mayor of Val do Dubra, Diego Luis Díaz, the Feiras do Abril.
The subdelegate highlighted the importance of these festivities, which seek to preserve and promote our identity and which have already become a benchmark of gastronomy, crafts, culture and music throughout the region.
María Rivas took advantage of her speech to remember that the government “is like no other” on the side of small municipalities, “bringing investments to all of them to undertake actions that, in many cases, they would not be able to carry out without that support,” she said.
The deputy delegate, who transferred the mayor “by the hand of the Government” to promote initiatives that strengthen the economic fabric of the municipality, stressed the importance of events such as the Feiras do Abril, which help to revitalize the territories and keep a rural alive.
