The deputy delegate of the Government, María Rivas, held today a working meeting with the manager of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Agrela, Teresa Firvida, in which they agreed to strengthen collaboration in matters of security in the Corunnese polygon.
Not long after the meeting, in which the provincial commissioner of the National Police, Carlos Gómez, was also present, progress was made in defining new ways of collaboration between businessmen and businesswomen of the polygon and the State Security Forces and Corps.
In this regard, the subdelegate said that it was agreed to hold a meeting between the association, the companies themselves and the National Police with the Government Subdelegation in which, in addition to establishing a proximity dialogue and publicizing the lines of joint work, any potential offered by the police app AlertCops will be more specifically addressed. In addition, greater coordination will be promoted among all security operators operating in Agrela: National Police, Local Police and private security.
However, María Rivas stressed that the city of A Coruña and the polygon in particular are safe spaces. “What this is about and improving the coordination to provide is a better service to the citizens, to the entrepreneurs who work in this business park and to the people who visit it,” he said.
