The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, attended the award of the 2024 Heritage Cities Award granted by the Group Cities World Heritage of Spain (GCPHE).
The delegate congratulated the president of the Patronato del Alcázar de Segovia for the recognition, highlighting its conservation, maintenance and diffusion of one of the most recognized medieval castles worldwide.
Blanco took advantage of the meeting to remember the involvement of the Government of Spain with the conservation and restoration of the Galician cultural heritage, with more than 200 million euros from the Government in investments for the tourism sector.
