The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, presided today in the Delegation the act of condemnation of the male crime committed in 2020 in San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Gran Canaria), following the statement of the same by the Ministry of Equality. The event, which was attended by the Government’s deputy delegate in A Coruña, María Rivas, began with the reading of a statement with which the delegate condemned this murder, conveyed his solidarity with the victim’s family and acquaintances and reiterated the Government’s willingness to continue working hand in hand with the other administrations and with society in eliminating violence against women and in promoting equality. After this reading, a minute’s silence was observed.
