The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, discussed with the mayor of O Grove, José Antonio Cacabelos, new projects that the City Council has in place to advance in the transformation of the municipality. He did so during a meeting held in the Delegation, in which the delegate and the councillor highlighted the collaboration of the Government to meet the demands and needs of the neighbors. In this sense, they studied the possibility of cooperation between both administrations in the promotion of public housing in the locality, framed in the effort of the Government to guarantee the right to a home in Galicia.
Another of the issues discussed at the meeting, which took place in a climate of cordiality, was the Government’s commitment to continue the work of promoting tourism in this intelligent destination.
For his part, the councillor of O Grove informed the delegate of the project and construction of a new treatment plant in San Vicente, request that the delegate undertook to transfer to the competent ministries.
In this same line, Cacabelos requested the reversion of several lands that are under the ownership of the Coastal Demarcation to be used by the City Council and put them at the service of the citizens.
