The deputy delegate of the Government, María Rivas, co-chaired today with the general director of Xusticia, José Tronchoni, the follow-up meeting of the agreement between the Government and the Xunta to guarantee the security of the buildings of the Administration of Justice in Galicia. The meeting held at the headquarters of the Subdelegation, in A Coruña, addressed the main developments of this collaboration between the Ministry of the Interior and the Xunta, whose main objective is to monitor and protect the buildings and facilities of the Administration of Justice through the assistance of the National Police and the Civil Guard.
The meeting addressed the provision of security arcs and defibrillators in the judicial units of Galicia and the reform of detention spaces, especially in A Coruña and Ferrol. The proposal for the redeployment of staff in the following units of Pontevedra was also analyzed: Provincial Court, Court of Guard and Civil Registry.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Secretary General of the Delegation, Eva Vázquez; the Chief General of the 15 Zone of the Civil Guard in A Coruña, Miguel Ángel González; the Chief Colonel of the UVEX (Vixilance Units in Xudiciais Buildings) Simón Venzal; the Superior Chief of the Police of Galicia, Pedro Jesús Pacheco, together with the Chief Inspector of the UVEX Operational Group of the National Police, Manuel Martínez. On the part of the Presidential Ministry, Xustiza e Deportes also participated the Deputy Director General of Media of the Administration of Xustiza, Raquel Romero Iglesias and the head of service of the technical-administrative coordination of this department, Ivanka Ferreiro.
