Pedro Blanco reiterates the Government’s support for sustainable development and respect for the tourist potential of the northern coast of Galicia

The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, participated today in Fitur in the presentation of the new tourism promotion campaign of the Community of Municipalities of La Mariña and whose motto is ‘A Mariña latexa with you’.

The delegate reiterated the Government’s support for sustainable development that respects the tourism potential of the northern coast of Galicia, and that is materialized through the Mariña Tourism Sustainability Plan, which cofinances the Ministry of Industry and Tourism with one million euros of funds from the Recovery Plan. He recalled that A Mariña is one of the 43 tourist destinations in Galicia that the Government is transforming with investments and with the collaboration of local entities, reaching one of every two Galician concellos.

In his speech, the delegate highlighted the work of the municipalities belonging to this Commonwealth, whom he congratulated as well as the whole of the Marignan society, for the joint work they are developing to modernise this sector.
