The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, presided this afternoon the annual meeting between the heads of the National Police Station of A Coruña with the associative fabric of the city in order to strengthen the relations between both groups and transfer the priorities in relation to the citizen security of A Coruña.
The meeting was held at the facilities of the National Police in Lonzas and was also attended by the provincial commissioner of the National Police, Carlos Gómez, and those responsible for the Delegation of Citizen Participation of the Police Station. The councilor for Citizen Security of A Coruña, Montserrat Paz, and the director of the Citizen Security area, Carlos García Touriñán, along with representatives of the Local Police also participated.
The deputy delegate sent the more than 70 people, who came on behalf of 50 associations in the city, a message of confidence in the work of the National Police and appealed to strengthen the collaboration and understanding that mark the usual relations they have with the staff of the Police Station. María Rivas called for joint reflection on the best way to alert the population or respond to situations of risk and reiterated to all associations the availability of the Commissariat and the Government Subdelegation to address the concerns of the citizens.
