The Government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, presided this morning in the Delegation the act of condemnation of the last male crime committed in Spain, after the statement of the same by the Government Delegation against Gender Violence, of the Ministry of Equality.
The delegate lamented the murder of Diana in the city of Madrid, and conveyed his condolences and solidarity with the family and loved ones of the victim of this crime, who also leaves an underage son orphaned. The delegate reiterated the Government’s commitment to continue working together with the other administrations and society in the elimination of violence against women and the promotion of equality. At the end of this statement, a minute’s silence was observed.
This death places 47 women murdered in Spain in 2024 by male violence, five of them in the Galician Community.
