The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, went today to the CEIP Albeiros to collaborate with the National Police in the delivery of “cyberexpert” cards that are receiving schoolchildren from the province. The subdelegate thanked the schools for the interest placed in requesting these activities of the Master Plan, which provide tools to work on the prevention of cyberbullying and male violence.
The assistant delegate, accompanied by the trainer of the Master Plan of the National Police, Rubén Darío Veiga, and the director of the center, Isabel Seijas, made the delivery of 46 cards to boys and girls of 6th grade. The subdelegate congratulated these students for their efforts to acquire knowledge in the field of education in the technological field, as well as protection against the possible dangers existing.
Isabel Rodríguez stressed that “these trainings allow the students of the province to be more prepared to face the risks of the internet and know how to proceed and act in the face of possible threats.” He also thanked the predisposition of the center to host the workshops and the capacity of the National Police to send the multitude of schools “very valuable information for their development as people, obtaining more preparation and decreasing risky behaviors and all the consequences that may arise from them.”
