The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, met today with the director of the Northwest-Cantabrian Traffic Management Center, Ramiro Martínez, on the occasion of his next retirement next January. Pedro Blanco conveyed to him the gratitude of the Government and of the whole society for the more than 20 years he has been managing this center, located in the facilities of the Provincial Traffic Headquarters of A Coruña, and for his commitment throughout this time with the road safety of the Galicians and the Galicians.
Ramiro Martínez participated in the design of this technology center and has been in charge of it since it was put into service in March 2002. Since 2020, the centre has come to be known as the Northwest-Cantabrian CGT, which includes the integrated management of roads in Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria. At the moment, the center is being reformed to adapt to the increase in staff and the needs of traffic management regulations.
