The subdelegate of the Government, María Rivas, inaugurates the day 'Grief and personality disorders in victims of gender violence', organized by the Violence Unit on Women of the Subdelegation of the Government in collaboration with Penitentiary Institutions and the National Police.
The inauguration of the day, which is framed in the acts of the Government Delegation in Galicia on the occasion of the 25N, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, will take place in the Social Insertion Center (CIS) of A Coruña and will also be attended by its director, Carla García.
This training activity, in which the attendance of more than a hundred people is already confirmed, is aimed at people who work in the first line in the care of victims of gender violence, such as the personnel of the information centers for women, social workers, lawyers, National Police or Civil Guard, among others.
Pilar Rey, social worker expert in grief; Beatriz Piñeiro, psychologist and coordinator of the Association of Personality Disorders of Galicia, and Luisa Kirmayer, psychologist expert in trauma and personality disorders, will be in charge of imparting the training.
The objective of the same is to work with these operators to ensure better care for victims is to identify in which part of the mourning they are at the moment of reporting their cases.
