The profile of the aggressor is a man, older, of the victim's environment, where 50.3% are members of their own family. The technologies are involved in 43.9% of cases, with phenomena such as grooming or non-consensual sexting.
The main objective of the workshops is to provide students with tools that allow them to self-cognize, understand and respect themselves.
The biological, emotional and related aspects of the body are treated, including body perception and sexual health. Concepts such as empathy, active listening and respect in interpersonal relationships are strengthened. We talk about loving relationships, couple relationships, sexuality, myths about love and consent will be treated in an integral way. And it addresses sexual violence and dangers on social media and pornography.
The subdelegate reported that this activity will be carried out in collaboration with Child Abuse and Maltreatment NO-Galicia (AMINOGAL), a non-profit entity founded in 2014, which works fundamentally on prevention, detection and advice in situations of violence towards children and adolescents; offering support to families and victims through care by professionals from various fields related to childhood and adolescence.
Rivas reported that the workshops are part of the activities programmed by the subdelegation in A Coruña around November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The subdelegate recalled that we have Organic Law 10/2022, on the integral guarantee of sexual freedom (LOGILS), which contains specific measures to guarantee the protection of girls and boys under 18 years of age against sexual violence; and Organic Law 8/2021, on the integral protection of children and adolescents against violence (LOPIVI), which makes it possible to act from a comprehensive approach, taking into account the multidimensional nature of risk factors and their consequences. No LOPIVI framework, the government is developing the strategy to eradicate violence against children and adolescents.
