The subdelegate of the Government in Pontevedra, Abel Losada, announced that the General Treasury of Social Security (TXSS) has just concluded a contract for 91,856.06 €, including VAT, for the renovation of photovoltaic solar panels in its municipal offices in O Porriño, located in Calle Fernández Areal.
The performance, which will allow the replacement and placement of new panels for self-consumption on the roofs of the building, will have an execution time of four months. The awarding company, Ecogal, will be responsible for the assembly and commissioning of this new photovoltaic installation.
It should be remembered that this action is framed in the determined commitment of the Government of Spain and, in particular, of the TXSS to promote renewable energies and improve the energy efficiency of its buildings. In this sense, the TXSS aims to have photovoltaic solar panels in all its premises for administrative use.
Abel Losada stressed that “the efforts of the Government of Pedro Sánchez to make Spain a greener and more sustainable country are reaching all levels and throughout the territory.”
