The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, informs that in the coming weeks, more than 10,000 people registered in the Special Regime of Self-Employed Workers (RETA) of the province of A Coruña, will receive a message through SMS on their mobile, so that they update their contact details and, especially, their email address.
The communication to the workers who have to update data, will be sent gradually over the next few weeks to also facilitate access to the modification of the same and thus avoid collapses.
María Rivas pointed out that the message we can receive on the mobile will have the following text “The TGSS in A Coruña requests that you use the IMPORTASS/Personal Data/via SMS Portal (http://run.gob.es/adiama) to update your contact data (mobile and e-mail), necessary to receive communications from the TGSS. More Info: 901502050 or 915410291”
“We call on the subdelegation to publicize this campaign so that whoever receives the message is certain that it is not a scam or a hoax,” said Rivas.
Those who receive the message must follow the instructions to provide their e-mail addresses only through the IMPORT@SS portal of the General Treasury of Social Security or, if they prefer, in person in any office of the Treasury.
María Rivas explained that the TXSS is updating the General Affiliation File to debug errors in contact data, which in the province of A Coruña means reaching just over 10,000 people registered in the RETA (out of a total of about 84,000 registered in the province).
The objective of this update is to ensure that the entire group receives the communications that the TGSS is going to send in the last quarter of the year within the framework of the new annual regularization process of the contribution system. Annual regularization is necessary because the monthly bases chosen each year are provisional until the annual regularization of the quote occurs. Before the end of 2024, it is therefore necessary to regularize the bases of the year 2023.
The inability of the TGSS to contact any of the people registered in the RETA may become a problem, since a notification not received with a debtor balance could generate, if necessary, a debt to Social Security.
Social Security receives information on the actual annual returns received each year. If the chosen quota is lower than the one associated with the real returns, communicated by the Tax Administration, the worker must be notified of the difference. The amount of the regularization must be paid before the last day of the month following the notification. Conversely, if the actual quotation becomes higher, the Treasury must reinstate the difference by 30. To communicate either of the two cases, it is essential to have the updated data.
