The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, invited the youth to approach the services offered by the Delegation and that are present in their daily lives. He did so during the visit of the students of 4º of the ESO of the IES Zalaeta de A Coruña, in the framework of the Open Administration Week, to which he invited to check all the services that this institution provides and will provide throughout their lives. They were accompanied during their stay by Lois García Carballido, responsible for the Education area of the Delegation.
The delegate highlighted, in fact, the service of management of study grants, which directly appeals to visitors, or the programs of the AGE in the field of labor training, such as the ‘Program of first professional experience in the AGE’, “which represents a gateway to the labor world for many new people, boosting their career from the beginning in the hand of the Administration.”
Pedro Blanco also stressed the importance of citizens “knowing the values and work of the Administration, which will always be at their disposal”. He did so by mentioning the work done by the Delegation in relation to the fight against gender violence, foreigners or the support it provides for many citizens through its peripheral services, such as the area of Agriculture and Fisheries. Not only that, beyond the Delegation, the AGE also offers service to citizens in the Tax Agency or in the Bank of Spain.
It is precisely the area of Agriculture and Fisheries that will lead the next event organized by the Delegation in the Open Administration Week, because tomorrow will take place in the Chamber of Commerce of A Coruña a day on the role it plays in foreign trade, destined to professionals of the companies associated to the Chamber. On Wednesday 12, the Delegation will host a report on the implementation of the Violeta Points in the offices of the Public Service of State Employment (SEPE), aimed at the workers of its offices.
The events will be closed in the Delegation on Friday with the training “Finance for all”, in which staff of the Bank of Spain will explain issues related to finances to the staff of the Administration that wishes. On the same day, the Ministry of Transport will make a visit to the completed works of the Sun and Sea pass, in Perillo (Oleiros), in which the improvements made will be exposed.
Interested persons can register on the website of the Government Delegation. For the visit to the Sun and Sea, there is a form on the website of Transportes.
