The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, reported that the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Public Service, through the agency Red.es, has just extended the potential beneficiaries of the ‘Digital Kit’ program to companies that have between 50 and 250 people employed, which in the case of the community exceed half a thousand. To all of them, the delegate encouraged to request this aid, which already mobilized more than 107 million euros in Galicia through 25,800 bonds, 9,700 of them in the province of A Coruña, where the investment exceeds 41 million euros.
Pedro Blanco made this invitation during the visit to the headquarters of the company Bricosyl, in the Compostelian polygon of Costa Vieja. She is one of the beneficiaries of the Digital Kit, a help that allowed her to improve her internal management and sales processes and create an online trading platform.
During the visit, in which he was accompanied by the manager of the company, Jesús Torrado, and the deputy to the management, Yolanda Torrado, the delegate gave an account of the news of the program. Thus, in addition to reporting the creation of two new tranches (for companies with 50 to less than 100 employees and for those with between 100 and 250 employees), with aid of up to 25,000 and 29,000 euros respectively, which can be requested in the last quarter of the year, he pointed out that companies with less than three employees, those in the third tranche, will increase the amount of aid up to 3,000 euros.
In this respect, he pointed out that, in the case of those who already had the aid of 2,000 euros, they will be able to extend it in those thousand euros through a specific button that will be enabled in their file. The concession will be automatic and the form will be available next June.
In addition, within this segment the “Secure Workplace” solution is created, with a maximum eligible amount of 1,000 euros to finance the purchase of laptops or desktops with a series of requirements that guarantee the security and privacy of the data stored in it.
The Digital Kit is an initiative of Red.es, an entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Public Service, which is framed in the Digital Spain Agenda 2026 and in the Digitalization Plan of SMEs 2021-2025. It is funded by the Government’s Recovery Plan, which has already mobilized more than 3.8 billion euros in Galicia and reached 39,000 entities. 77% of the beneficiaries are self-employed, micro-enterprises and SMEs (43%); large enterprises (20%) and Temporary Business Unions (14%).
The delegate stressed that, with these innovations, “we strengthen the Government’s commitment to our companies, especially the smallest ones, which are key in our business ecosystem, helping them grow and accompanying them in their digital transformation.”
