The delegate of the Government, Pedro Blanco, today laid at the hand of the Government of Spain and the Delegation in Galicia the companies and entities to take advantage “until the last euro of the Recovery Plan” and continue to make Galicia “a land of opportunities”. Pedro Blanco made this offer during the closing of the first session of the III Spanish Economic Forum “La Galicia que venir”, organized in A Coruña by the communication group of El Español.
The delegate evidenced the impact of the program on the Galician business fabric, with 3,800 million granted and more than 42,000 beneficiaries, “one in two small and medium-sized enterprises”. In this sense, he encouraged companies, entities and municipalities to continue opting and presenting their proposals and projects to the various calls for the Recovery Plan, which has been in existence for almost three years. He stressed that these calls are managed by the State Administration and the Autonomous Community in an exercise of “co-governance and collaboration” and that one in two beneficiaries of this aid in Galicia were SMEs.
The delegate conveyed the optimistic vision of the Government to continue promoting a “sustainable, digital and socially cohesive economic model of Galicia” based on “confidence in the capabilities of our companies, our research and our social base”.
A pertinent reflection
Pedro Blanco congratulated the El Español team for the third edition of the Economic Forum of Galicia, a meeting that he described as “consolidated and very necessary”, because it serves to “reflect on our present, define our strengths and learn from our weaknesses to overcome them”.
This first session included relays and colloquiums on the naval sector, renewable energies, trade, ports and the primary sector: “of Galicians and Galicians with the vision of bringing their country closer and the determination to carry it out and of companies that chose Galicia to establish and develop business projects, many of them innovative”. For the delegate, these people are the best proof that “Galicia is already a land of opportunities” that is built combining talent and entrepreneurship along with institutional support and the strategic instrument of the Recovery Plan.
