The Secretary of State for Youth and Childhood, Rubén Pérez, visited the Center for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC), promoted by the Universidade da Coruña (UDC), accompanied by the government delegate, Pedro Blanco, and the subdelegate in the province, María Rivas.
During the meeting, in which the rector of the University, Ricardo Cao, and the director of the center, Manuel González, participated, the secretary of state stressed the importance for the Ministry of several of the projects that CITIC is developing, highlighting the one focused on the early detection of cyberbullying in classrooms, which will allow to automatically estimate the age of migrant minors or those related to artificial intelligence, education and childhood diseases.
Rubén Pérez learned from the University researchers about the evolution of these initiatives and encouraged them to continue working to respond to the challenges of society.
