The deputy delegate of the Government, María Rivas, today highlighted the commitment of the Government with the City of Arteixo that is once again evidenced by the free transfer by the Ministry of Finance of three rustic plots for use as sports facilities, an act that is included today in the Official State Gazette.
The subdelegate indicated that the cession of these rustic plots in the parish of Morás, in Arteixo, will benefit the autocross circuit and its annexed facilities. “It will provide an impetus for sport in the area and contribute to dynamizing sports activity in this municipality,” said Rivas, who stressed that this initiative is also part of the Government’s policy to promote sport as a means to promote physical activity and healthy life, as well as to promote the economic and social development of the different localities of Galicia.
María Rivas also recalled that this transfer is in addition to other aid and investments made by the Government of Spain in Arteixo, such as the environmental regeneration of the Bolaños and Bidueira rivers worth more than 900,000 euros or the humanization works of the Paseo del Balneario with a subsidy of 702,000 euros, among others, “which demonstrates the strong commitment of the Government to the improvement of the locality, promoting projects that benefit the whole of the citizenry and that affect its development and economic growth.
