The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, today presided over the security board in which the device responsible for ensuring security was finalized in the 28th edition of the A Coruña Rally. The meeting was attended by representatives of the organization of the test, as well as the Civil Guard, Traffic Subsector, National Police, Provincial Traffic Headquarters, local police and representatives of the municipalities through which the test will run and the Xunta.
After the meeting, the deputy delegate of the Government appealed to the organization, the participating runners and especially all the public that will gather to witness the passage of the Rally on the roads of the province to “be respectful of the signage, comply with the instructions of the staff who will take care of the safety of the event and, in the case of the spectators, always stay within the spaces delimited for them.”
The underdelegate took the opportunity to congratulate the One Seven team for organizing this event in which a total of 107 pilots will participate. The event, which will be held on 15 and 16 March, is part of the Galician rally championship, with A Coruña being one of the most unique events due to its spectacular start from the Plaza de María Pita. In this 28th edition, the race will tour the roads of seven concellos of the province: A Coruña, Aranga, Arteixo, Cerceda, Cueros, Culleredo, Oza-Cesuras.
