The deputy delegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, co-presidiu together with the mayor of Chantada, Manuel Lorenzo Varela, the Local Xunta of Security of the municipality and the device that it will arm for the Feria del Viño of the next 8, 9 and 10 March.
The subdelegate celebrated in this meeting the increase in the rate of clarification of the infractions by the Civil Guard by 10% with respect to the previous period, which allows to make Chantada a safer city and strengthen the security network for the celebration of different events, such as the aforementioned fair.
The meeting was also attended by heads of Security of the City Council, Civil Guard and Traffic Subsector, representatives of the General Directorate of Emergencies and Local Police.
Isabel Rodríguez highlighted the work carried out by all the security forces to reduce conflict, as well as the work they are doing in the prevention and public awareness with minors, since the Civil Guard has planned to give a total of 16 talks related to school harassment, additions and gender violence, among other topics.
Feria del Viño
The Local Security Board also served as a prelude to talk about the security device that it will carry out during the Feria del Viño de Chantada, which will be held on March 8, 9 and 10 and will have 16 wineries, one more than last year, in a few days that if they wait multitudinous and that will serve as a date of celebration of the wine and also of the local products. The fair will also have musical performances to liven up the days.
