The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, attended today the public presentation of the project of reform of the House of Culture of Antas de Ulla, together with the mayor, Pilar García Porto. The presentation, open to citizens, was held after the administrative act of signing the contract between the City Council and the company that is going to be in charge of the execution of this work. The delegate was accompanied by the Deputy Delegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez.
The reform of the building of the House of Culture of Antas de Ulla was included in the PIREP Program of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government. This program aims to collaborate with regional and local administrations for the rehabilitation of public buildings, and focuses on improving the energy efficiency of these facilities.
The delegate was aware of the details of the project that will begin to be implemented in the coming weeks, after the signing of the reconsideration act. This project includes the reform of the energy envelope of the current building of the Casa de la Cultura, improving its isolation and gaining in comfort. The equipment of the Library will be maintained and the rest of the space will be rearranged to allow it to be multipurpose and accessible to all the cultural associations of the City Council. Fiadeira, the theater group, La Coral and the Music School of the Band of Music of Antas currently use these facilities.
After this presentation, the mayor and the delegate held a meeting in which they reviewed the evolution of other government projects in Antas de Ulla as well as the initiatives that the City Council wants to promote within the framework of different calls managed by the Government.
