The deputy delegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, received this morning the chief inspector, Pablo Fernández, who will become the new head of the commissioner of Monforte de Lemos after the departure of his predecessor, Bernardo Tomás García.
The provincial commissioner, Luis Romera, was also present at the meeting, coinciding with the subdelegate on the important citizen work that the new office is going to do at the head of the police station, and hoping to maintain the work guide established by the previous leaders.
Isabel Rodríguez congratulated him on his new position, with which he will meet and work with professionals from the town and surrounding areas of the province and trusts that he will carry out his tasks with responsibility and diligence through the integration and dedication of the body with the inhabitants of the municipality and ensuring their safety and protection.
Likewise, Rodríguez sent him a message of support and extended it to the Subdelegation itself “to ensure the coexistence and the approach of the body to the inhabitants of the province, achieving an effective and real security”.
Trajectory
Pablo Fernández López was born in Ferrol, in 1972. He has a degree in social studies and a degree in police science. He entered the executive scale of the National Police in 1999.
As for his professional career, he was head of the MIP in the local police station of Telde in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, he was head of the Operative Group of the Judicial Police Brigade in Galicia and since 2019, he is head of the Provincial Brigade of Citizen Security of Lugo until this year, which reaches the position of head of the Police Station of Monforte de Lemos.
He has numerous courses in police management and among the badges that the new boss has, he has more than 60 public congratulations, 3 crosses to police merit with white badge, 1 medal to dedication to police service, among other recognitions.
