The subdelegate of the Government in Pontevedra, Abel Losada, made today his first institutional visit to the City of Caldas de Reis. During his visit he held a meeting with his mayor, Juan Manuel Rey, the deputy mayor, Manuel Fariña, and other members of the local government team to analyze the situation of the different actions and projects of the Executive in the municipality.
The subdelegate also visited the refurbishment and milling works of the N-640 in Juan Fuentes Echevarría Street, which began today. These works of improvement and replacement of the firm executed by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility aim to tackle the deterioration of the rolling layer of this road, highly transited. Abel Losada valued this intervention, “much demanded from the City Council and that we hope it will allow the road to return the optimal conditions for quite some time.” The works will be carried out on the stretch of the road that goes from the passage of the river Follente to the center of the villa.
The subdelegate also reviewed the initiatives of the Government of Spain in the municipal term relating to the development of industrial land, improvement of infrastructures and collaboration in cultural matters. In this regard, the mayor, Juan Manuel Rey, wanted to thank the subdelegate for his visit, “since he was able to know first-hand the various investments and pending issues.” For his part, the subdelegate offered the local government team his “maximum collaboration to materialize the different actions demanded by the City Council throughout the legislature” and recalled “the commitment of the Executive of Pedro Sánchez with the Galician municipalities and their inhabitants”.
