Viana do Bolo (Ourense), January 22, 2024.- The subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Emilio González, appeals to social responsibility and appeals to the citizens to enjoy the "true spirit of an intrusion" without incident and safe.
Emilio González has highlighted that citizen security will be one of the fundamental pillars throughout this month in all the villas of the province to avoid possible incidents and prevent crowds but has also highlighted the need for conscience and collective responsibility to continue preserving and guaranteeing one of the great signs of identity of the province of Ourense as is the intrusive. He said this during the local security meeting of Viana do Bolo to any president this morning together with the mayor, Andrés Montesinos.
The subdelegate encourages the people of Ourense to visit and participate in the extensive cultural program that will extend throughout the territory and positively valued the "good climate" that took place during this first weekend with the "petardazo and farelero" of Xinzo de Limia's meddling.
Viana Local Board
The deputy delegate and the mayor of Viana do Bolo, Andrés Montesinos, co-chaired this morning the meeting of the Local Security Board in which an analysis of citizen security was carried out, and the measures of the Entroido Self-Protection Plan were studied given the relevance and special importance of the celebration of Fat Sunday for which the attendance of millions of people is foreseen.
Entroido
With regard to Entroido, the Subdelegate requests that the same security climate be maintained as in recent years so that the inhabitants of Viana do Bolo can enjoy the true spirit of Entroido without incident.
He also requested the maximum collaboration of other administrations, especially the Xunta de Galicia, with the regional police; as well as citizen collaboration for the correct development of these holidays given the large crowds that are expected.
This is the last of the three Security Boards that the Deputy Delegate chaired in the previous weeks, covering and analyzing the protections measures that will be carried out in the large Entroido villas.
