The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, made today an institutional visit to the Concello de A Fonsagrada, where he held a meeting with the mayor of the town, Carlos López, with whom he reviewed the different projects in the municipality, among which he highlighted the launch of the Antonio Fraguas Museum “Forges”, which will be a revulsive for tourism and the economy of the Lucense Mountain.
The museum, the first in all of Spain dedicated exclusively to the great cartoonist, will occupy the old Casa do Concello, which is being rehabilitated under the Program to Promote the Rehabilitation of Public Buildings of Local Entities (Pirep) and which will also host the new tourist office, an assembly hall and different spaces for municipal uses.
In the course of the meeting, the delegate supervised other projects that are being developed in the concello, such as the plan to complete the extension of broadband within the framework of the Government's UNICO Program, which will allow to bring the high-performance Internet connection to 3,120 families and companies that hitherto lacked this service in the Fonsagrada.
