The delegate of the Government in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, made a visit today to the City of Cambados, where he held a meeting with the mayor of the town, Samuel Lago, with whom he reviewed the different projects in the municipality in which both administrations collaborate. The meeting, which was attended by several councillors and councillors of the local government, served to review the common projects and to deepen the institutional relations between the two administrations.
The delegate stressed that the cooperation of the Government with the City of Cambados translates into projects to improve energy efficiency, in the extension of broadband access to the Internet and in the modernization of the fabric and the local tourism offer.
At the meeting they assessed the situation of these investments and the delegate learned about the projects in which the local government works and which could open new avenues of collaboration between both administrations. Pedro Blanco transferred to the mayor of Cambados the lines of work of the Government in relation to the Local Administration and showed him his willingness to support the initiatives presented by the City Council in the different ministerial lines.
At the meeting, they reviewed the status of the project of the new Cambados Civil Guard Headquarters, which is being built by the Ministry of the Interior. This execution was affected by an unforeseen geological one that emerged during the excavation of the grounds to lay the foundations of the building. This unforeseen requires a modification of the project at this point, which is already advanced. In parallel, the work not affected by this circumstance continues normally.
