The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, reported today that Red.es, entity attached to the Ministry of Digital Transformation through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, granted more than 22,000 grants from the Digital Kit program to autonomous and small Galician companies. This initiative carried out by the Government of Spain represents an investment of more than 94 million euros from the European funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan for SMEs in Galicia.
Pedro Blanco confirmed that the four calls opened so far of this program have funds so that the self-employed, SMEs and entities capable of reaching these bonds can continue to apply for them. Red.es will soon add a fifth call addressed to medium-sized companies.
In the two years since its creation, the Digital Kit became the most demanded digitization aid program in the history of Spain reaching 80% of the Spanish municipalities.
