Ourense, December 18, 2023.- The Subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Emilio González, presided this morning the meeting of the Commission of Assistance to the Subdelegate of the Government in which a balance has been made of the management of the organs of the General Administration of the State (AGE) in the province of Ourense during the whole year 2023.
The meeting reflected the effort being made by the different units of the AGE to bring services closer to citizens, speed up the processing and ensure that the administration is next to the citizen.
The subdelegate of the Government stressed that "during all these months the personnel of the different areas worked intensively to minimize the obstruction of ordinary affairs, demonstrating an exceptional professionalism."
During the Assistance Committee, the various directors gave the subdelegate a detailed report of what happened throughout the year in their respective organizations.
The directors of the different units pointed out that the face-to-face activity of providing services maintains the system of prior appointment, which allows to properly manage the presence of the public in the different units, without neglecting the options of attention via email or telephone.
In addition, the constant effort in the process of innovation and improvement of digital channels to facilitate the access of citizens to the various public services was highlighted.
