The Subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña has held today a meeting with the people responsible for the General Administration of the State who have a greater volume of attention to the citizens

One of the axes on which the Strategic Plan of the Government Delegation in Galicia and the Subdelegation of the Government in A Coruña is focused are the people and the attention given to them, which constitutes one of the basic pillars of the quality of any public service. This meeting has served to make the subdelegate know at first hand the measures that are being adopted by the different agencies to give better attention to citizens.

This Monday a new Commission of assistance to the Subdelegate of the Government was held in A Coruña. María Rivas wanted to know first-hand the channels and news with which the bodies of the General Administration of the State with the most influx of public attend to the citizens.

This meeting is part of the objectives foreseen in the Strategic Plan of the Government Delegation in Galicia and the Subdelegation of the Government in A Coruña, which seeks to open and promote stable channels of coordination between all the state agencies located in the province. Mª Victoria Gómez Dobarro, Provincial Head of Traffic, Estefanía Pita Martínez, Provincial Director of the SEPE, Margarita Pérez Sánchez, Provincial Director of the ISM, Miguel Planas Roca, Provincial Director of the TGSS, Eva Fernández Vale, Provincial Director of the INSS, Marta García Sande, Territorial Manager of the Ministry of Justice in Galicia, Victoria Fernández Estevan, Regional Manager of the Catastro de Galicia, Alberto Saavedra,

Attention to citizenship is a common concern of all agencies, so this meeting served to share experiences and success stories when dealing with the provision of the service. In addition, special emphasis was placed on the attention given to certain groups, such as people over 65 years of age.

This line of action of the Subdelegation of the Government in A Coruña continues the open path with the implementation of the program The Administration near you, in which public employees and employees visited 65 municipalities of the provinces to bring the services of the State to the citizens and combat the digital divide, forming and facilitating their incorporation into the digital world. More than 1000 people have passed through these visits, who were provided with a digital certificate with which to be able to relate electronically with the Administration, avoiding travel and waiting times.

After the implementation of this program, there are already 25 municipalities in the province of A Coruña that have acceded to the Agreement signed between the Ministry of Territorial Policy and the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, through which these municipalities continue to request the displacement of the staff of the Government Delegation in Galicia and the Government Subdelegation in A Coruña to continue informing and bringing closer the services most demanded.
