The deputy delegate of the Government says goodbye to the head of the Command in Lugo, Lieutenant Colonel Julio González Chas, who passes the reserve after more than 40 years of service to the Civil Guard

The deputy delegate received in the Subdelegation of the Government the current head of the Civil Guard of Lugo, Julio González Chas, to thank him for all the work at the head of the Command in this last stage. He also recognized all the work carried out in the body “with the utmost rigor and commitment to the profession, always tending to reach agreements and solve problems”. Rodríguez highlighted the “professionalism and loyalty to the body” of González Chas, also valuing “the one honest and fair person, who sets a precedent and an example in the Civil Guard of Lucense”.

The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, received in the Subdelegation of the Government the current head of the Command of the Civil Guard of Lugo, Julio González Te las to say goodbye after more than four decades of service to the body. The deputy delegate admired the tenacity of the Lieutenant Colonel to make the city a safer place for citizens.

The subdelegate reflected on all the work done by the command in this year that González Chas was in charge, highlighting the clear will to open the body to the neighborhood to publicize its work, supporting to a large extent programs such as the Master Plan, with performances and exhibitions for the schoolchildren and educational community.

Isabel Rodríguez highlighted “the professionalism and loyalty to the body” of the lieutenant colonel, describing him as “an honest and fair person, representative symbol of the Civil Guard”. The subdelegate thanked her for the permanent communication she maintained with respect to the Subdelegation, “helping and supporting the population and offering their services whenever necessary.”

Life
Julio Javier González, a native of A Coruña, joined the Coruña Corps in 1982. During these more than 40 years in the Civil Guard he served in different commanders in units of Citizen Security, Fiscal and Borders, Maritime Service and Information. In recent years he was assigned to the A Coruña Command.
