The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, received in the Subdelegation of the Government the current head of the Command of the Civil Guard of Lugo, Julio González Te las to say goodbye after more than four decades of service to the body. The deputy delegate admired the tenacity of the Lieutenant Colonel to make the city a safer place for citizens.
The subdelegate reflected on all the work done by the command in this year that González Chas was in charge, highlighting the clear will to open the body to the neighborhood to publicize its work, supporting to a large extent programs such as the Master Plan, with performances and exhibitions for the schoolchildren and educational community.
Isabel Rodríguez highlighted “the professionalism and loyalty to the body” of the lieutenant colonel, describing him as “an honest and fair person, representative symbol of the Civil Guard”. The subdelegate thanked her for the permanent communication she maintained with respect to the Subdelegation, “helping and supporting the population and offering their services whenever necessary.”
Life
Julio Javier González, a native of A Coruña, joined the Coruña Corps in 1982. During these more than 40 years in the Civil Guard he served in different commanders in units of Citizen Security, Fiscal and Borders, Maritime Service and Information. In recent years he was assigned to the A Coruña Command.
