The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, today highlighted the commitment of the Subdelegation of the Government in A Coruña for the improvement of public services thanks to the execution of the Strategic Plan 2021-2023 that will have continuity until 2026. María Rivas attended today the presentation of the balance sheet of this plan and said that it will continue in the coming years with a new document that will include measures and programs until 2026.
The subdelegate of the Government stressed that the current Strategic Plan ends “in an unbeatable way” with the execution of 149 measures and actions to improve the quality of services to increase efficiency in the management and in the indices of satisfaction of the citizens as well as to strengthen the presence and visibility of the State Administration in the province.
The improvement measures were included in 5 priority action axes: quality and excellence in management; empowerment of people’s capacities and qualities; rational use of material, organizational and environmental resources; improvement of communication and image; modernization and digitalization; and improvement of specialized processes. The promotion and development of the strategic plan was approached from a double perspective: the implementation of a modern methodology of quality management according to the most advanced parameters, which allowed the setting of objectives, the evaluation and monitoring of the activity; and the execution of concrete measures of improvement of services, according to the principles of legality, effectiveness, efficiency and quality.
This Plan will continue with the approval of the Strategic Plan 2024-2026, which is currently being prepared and consulted, and which will maintain actions to promote and improve services, including those provided by the Office for Foreigners, the High Inspectorate of Education, Foreign Health, Industry, Agriculture and Fisheries, Promotion, and those attributed, among others, to Civil Protection and Units of Violence against Women, or the management of general electoral processes.
The Plan is part of the global strategy of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and is aligned with the Plan of Modernization of Public Administrations integrated in the Plan of Recovery, Transformation and Resilience which allows the creation of positive synergies to achieve the desired results.
