The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, valued the nearly 100 million euros that the Government is investing in Galicia through the Recovery Plan to favor the digital transformation of its companies from which have already benefited more than 25,000 signatures in the community, 4,000 of them in the province of Lugo.
The subdelegate took advantage of her participation in the presentation of the program ‘Digital Generation SMEs’ in the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Lugo (CEL) to highlight that the Government of Pedro Sánchez “is the best ally of Galician companies”. Proof of this are initiatives such as this, implemented in Galicia by the private university CESUGA and the finance school EF Business School, to which the Government injects 3.4 million euros to train 1,300 Galician managers in digital skills until 2025.
The Confederation of Lugo Entrepreneurs, under an agreement signed with the Venancio Salcines Foundation, which is behind the two institutions that provide training, will be responsible for promoting this government program. In this regard, Isabel Rodríguez encouraged Portuguese companies not to miss this unique opportunity, and also those people who want to train to be protagonists of the digital transformation that the Government is promoting with the funds of the Recovery Plan.
“This Government continues to help companies and entrepreneurs, which also contributes to the transformation of our economy and our production model, another example of the much that can be done with public-private collaboration,” said the deputy delegate.
Isabel Rodríguez stressed that the Government of Pedro Sánchez “is making the Recovery Plan an unbeatable tool for business growth.” Other examples of this are the 75 million euros mobilized in the Support for Industrial Entrepreneurship plan, which facilitates the creation of new industrial initiatives and the growth and improvement of the competitiveness of companies; the Digital Kit, which already mobilized 12.5 million through more than 3,300 bonds in the province of Lugo, or the offices of the Acelera SME program.
This respect, the subdelegate recalled that a few weeks ago in Lugo one of these centers of advice to SMEs and self-employed on ICT tools and solutions was inaugurated. “All these items exemplify our commitment and demonstrate, once again, that this Government is on the side of companies, entrepreneurs and businesswomen, and goes with them hand in hand, putting at the top of the table the investments that are necessary to improve their competitiveness,” he concluded.
