The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, encouraged companies to take advantage of the government’s economic plans and programs, from which more than 4,000 Portuguese companies have already benefited. It did so during the event on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the opening of the facilities of the company Torre de Núñez at the Industrial Estate of O Corgo.
In this regard, Pedro Blanco pointed out the different lines of aid within the framework of the Recovery Plan to grow in digitalization, energy efficiency, innovation or development to highlight that the Government “is the best ally” of Galician companies and pointed out that these funds have already reached more than 25,000 small and medium-sized Galician companies.
“We will continue in this line, because we are sure that the policies of the Government of Spain reach the companies of Lugo and Galicia, that the funds of the Recovery Plan reach Lugo and Galicia and that our objective is the same as that of the companies of Lugo and Galicia: to generate wealth, economic activity and quality employment,” said the delegate.
This commitment to improve, together with the commitment to the land, is, for the delegate, one of the keys to the success of the Torre de Núñez company, a path in which, he said, “the Government is at your side and will continue at your side”.
Pedro Blanco congratulated the Nuñez tower for these ten years of its O Corgo ham drying plant and for the successes of the meat company. He stressed that he is the leader of his sector in the northwest of Spain, capable of transforming 5,500 tons per year for the more than 200 references that he markets in the market, invoicing more than 36 million euros and employing 150 men and women in his facilities.
“This result and the expansion plans of Torre de Núñez (the company is present in 30 countries in Europe, America and Asia) are only possible if there are committed workers, a first-class management team and a business family with vision and commitment,” said the delegate.
In this respect, he pointed out that the Government of Spain is with companies, “because we feel a duty and a commitment to support our business to guarantee the present and future of our companies, the present and the future of our community. We are and will be your best ally,” he concluded.
