The subdelegate of the Government analyzes with the new mayor of Taboada the main needs of the municipality

Both public officials agreed on the need to maintain a good relationship and coordination between both institutions that is in the interests of the neighbors of Taboada

The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, met today with the mayor of Taboada, Roi Rigueira, with whom she reviewed the main needs of this municipality in the southern area of the province.

In the first institutional visit to the Subdelegation of the Government by the new councilor of Taboada, Isabel Rodríguez and Roi Rigueira took the opportunity to analyze the possibilities of collaboration between the two administrations and addressed the issues related to security. Both public officials agreed on the need to maintain a good relationship and coordination between both institutions that is in the interests of the neighbors of Taboada.

In this line, Isabel Rodríguez transferred the full disposition of the Subdelegation with the City of Taboada in those matters that are the competence of the Central Executive. Thus, they studied the situation of the accesses of the N-540 and its crossing through the municipality, and agreed to plan the next call for the Local Xunta of Citizen Security.

In addition, the deputy delegate took advantage of this morning’s meeting to inform the mayor about the government programs available in housing, ecological transition, broadband access and public administration.
