The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, traveled today to the beach of Mañóns, in Boiro to know the environment of the sandy area, an example of sustainability and where waste materials from other areas were reused.
The visit was accompanied by the mayor, Xosé Ramón Romero and the head of the Coastal Demarcation of A Coruña, Rafael Eimil, who explained to the subdelegate that the foreskins used to stabilize the pinar slope came from the beach of A Ribeiriña in A Pobra do Caramiñal.
María Rivas was interested in this action as an example of a circular economy that reduces the environmental impact in the sandy area.
