The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas , held a working meeting at the headquarters of the Federation of Anpas of Public Schools of the Province of A Coruña to continue delving into issues related to the involvement of mothers and fathers in the work of the educational community.
Today’s meeting is part of the celebration of World Mother and Father’s Day on June 1. During this meeting, the subdelegate and the people who participated in it, exchanged impressions and suggestions to be able to define strategies of joint action between the administration, teachers, force and security forces, mothers and fathers in order to protect girls and boys.
María Rivas highlighted the importance of the Coexistence Plan as a fundamental tool to help prevent security problems and coexistence among students. Among other issues, it was agreed to bring this plan to more mothers and fathers and for you a series of activities will be calenderized.
In the first quarter of the year, 12,883 people from the educational community of A Coruña participated in the activities led by the teams of the Civil Guard and National Police. A total of 553 talks and training sessions were held at 131 educational centres throughout the province.
In the meeting this morning at the headquarters of the provincial federation participated members of the Anpas of the public schools of Bergondo, Ponte dos Brozos, Ramón de la Sagra, Eusebio da Guarda and San Francisco Javier.
