A significant part of this amount will be used to pay compensation to the more than 21,400 people who work in the preparation and development of the election day. Among them, the 11,883 people members of electoral tables; the 2,580 representatives of the administration, responsible for the transmission of data at the tables; and the 7,328 people members of the Security Forces and Corps that will ensure the normality of the day.
Electors
2,225,962 voters and electors will be able to participate in these elections. Of this electoral census, 2,216,522 people are registered as resident voters (CER), while 9,400 are registered as foreign voters (CERE). It should be noted that, although the CER recorded a decrease in 22,864 people (-1%), the CERE grew in Galicia by 191 people, 2%. In addition, 86,173 Galicians and Galicians will exercise the right to vote for the first time in this electoral process.
Out of the total census, 55,179 people formalized the request to vote by mail, and the vote of 103 Galicians and Galicians who temporarily reside abroad was accepted. It should be remembered that in these elections, voters with permanent residence abroad (the CERA) do not have the right to vote.
