Ourense, April 17, 2023.- The subdelegation of the Government in Ourense has had two new additions since the beginning of April. These are two unemployed young people under 30 years of age who participate in the First Professional Experience in Public Administrations program.
These two young women signed a one-year internship contract with the Government Delegation to carry out their work in the subdelegation of the Government of Ourense. During the first three months of work, they will have one person, a public employee, who will guide them as a tutor and advise and support them according to a training itinerary supervised by the SEPE (Public Employment Service). They will also receive a salary according to their academic level and according to the Administration’s salary tables.
The Deputy Delegate of the Government in Ourense, Emilio González, and the Secretary General, Manuel Arias, have held a meeting with the two young women to welcome them and get to know their impressions at first hand.
Emilio González highlighted the importance of this program as it represents important benefits for both parties. On the one hand, the administration incorporates young people with professional profiles that do not exist in the workforce and with extensive knowledge in the digital field. On the other hand, the participants will achieve a professional competence that will surely be very relevant to their future, in addition to acquiring knowledge and experience in the Public Administration that can motivate them to become future public employees.
“The incorporation of two young people into the Government Subdelegation during their stay will provide them with a professional and enriching experience for what will be their future working life, while facilitating their knowledge of the General Administration of the State” said the subdelegate.
In this case through the first program of professional practices in Public Administrations managed by the Ministry of Labour through the Public Employment Service and which has 112 million euros from the Recovery Plan. A pioneering program in the public sector that aims to recruit young people, under 30 years old, unemployed, to acquire professional experience in public administrations.
In the case of the subdelegation of the Government of Ourense, one of the participants will acquire competences in the documentary processing and digitization of files while the other will do so in public communication.
The Program of First Professional Experiences in Public Administrations offers a first work experience in Public Administrations to unemployed young people who have completed their regulated training. You will acquire non-technical skills and interpersonal skills working in roles related to the dual transition, energy and digital, social assistance and territorial cohesion.
