The Government Subdelegation in Lugo has had three new additions since the beginning of April. They are two young people and a young woman who were unemployed under 30 years of age who participate in the First Professional Experience in Public Administrations program.
These young people signed a one-year internship contract with the Government Delegation to carry out their work in the Lugo Government Subdelegation. During the first three months of work they will have a person, a public employee, who will guide them as a tutor and provide advice and support according to a training itinerary supervised by the SEPE (Public Employment Service). In addition, they will receive a salary according to their academic level and second the salary tables of the Administration.
The deputy delegate of the Government, Isabel Rodríguez, held a meeting with the boys to welcome them and learn more about the first impressions of this program. On the one hand, the Administration incorporates new people with professional profiles that do not exist in the staff and with extensive knowledge in the digital field. And on the other hand, the participants will achieve a professional competence that in faith will be very relevant to their future, in addition to acquiring knowledge and experiences in the Public Administration that can motivate them to become public employees and employees in the future.
The subdelegate also praised the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, thanks to which it was possible to contract and carry out this plan of first professional experience in the Public Administrations, a plan responsible for distributing European funds to overcome the consequences left by the pandemic. A pioneering program in the public sphere that aims to hire new people, less than 30 years old, unemployed, to acquire a professional experience within the public administrations.
