Entrimo (Ourense), March 29, 2023.- The subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Emilio González, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of Pedro Sánchez for the green transition with more than 25 million IDAE investment in the province in rural municipalities. Emilio González put Entrimo as an example of the government’s commitment to small municipalities. The City of Entrimo improves the photovoltaic energy of the municipal lighting thanks to the more than 224,000 euros of investment received through the IDAE program of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition for unique projects in municipalities of the demographic challenge for investments in municipalities of less than 5,000 inhabitants.
The action, which is currently in its second phase, consists of the replacement of traditional type luminaires with LED type luminaires of greater performance and efficiency, along with the replacement of dashboards. Emilio González went to the City Council of Entrimo this morning. There he held a meeting with the mayor, Ramón Alonso, and with the municipal corporation, to supervise the state investments in this municipality and know their demands and opinions. The Government’s investments in Entrimo reach 1.2 million euros through three ministries.
Recovery of the Geres-Xurés Cross-Border Natural Park
The Subdelegate of the Government in Ourense has also highlighted the investments received by the City of Entrimo through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan for the environmental preservation of the Biosphere Reserve in the cross-border Natural Park of Geres Xurés.
Likewise, the Subdelegate transferred to the corporation both the rural Post plan that will allow the Post procedures to be brought closer to the homes, and the creation of Justice Offices in rural areas that will give visibility to the magistrates. They will be able to perform functions without the rural inhabitants having to travel, thus promoting the digitalization and habitability of rural services.
