María Rivas has stressed that with the eBiblio platform, the Government aims to provide equal opportunities and access to culture to all citizens regardless of where they live, in addition to reducing the digital divide .
During the presentation of the digital library, María Rivas congratulated the mayor for taking advantage of the resources that the Government makes available to the entire network of Spanish public libraries.
María Rivas stressed that programs such as eBiblio are part of the commitment of the Government of Spain and of the collaboration with all municipalities, especially with the smaller municipalities, to challenge the demographic front and the fight against depopulation, promoting territorial cohesion.
“This message is very clear to the mayor of Ponteceso who knows that in order to establish a population, quality services must be offered to citizens, services such as the one we present here today in which the Government of Spain and the city of Ponteceso go hand in hand,” said the deputy delegate.
