Ourense, February 28, 2023.- The Subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Emilio González, expressed his maximum collaboration and harmony with the pyrotechnic entrepreneurs of the province and stressed the need and importance of keeping in mind the processing and request of permits and security plans to be able to have the documentation in order for the beginning of the season to be able to guarantee all the necessary security measures in the pyrotechnic shows.
He conveyed this at the meeting held this morning in the Government Subdelegation with all entrepreneurs in the sector. The meeting was chaired by the Subdelegate, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Subdelegation, Manuel Arias; as well as Beatriz Gómez and Luis do Espírito Santo, responsible for the Xaraiba pyrotechnics; and Jose Benito Salgado, responsible for the Josman pyrotechnics.
Emilio González listened to the demands of the entrepreneurs of the sector, who today maintain more than half of their activity outside the province to be able to “give them an agile response and show their collaboration and harmony” to ensure maximum support and rigor in compliance with the security measures during the shows, especially for the preservation of the environment and the existence of the minimum risk of a forest fire.
Request and permission types
With regard to the application for permits that they must have in order to present in local entities and that establishes the Regulations on Pyrotechnic Articles and Cardboard, three types of pyrotechnic shows are included:
A- Pyrotechnic show with quantity of material regulation greater than 10kg and less than 50 kg whose application period is 10 working days through the procedure “Shows with pyrotechnic devices and shooting of articles P2 and T2” the cuel can be made through the electronic headquarters
B- Pyrotechnic show with quantity of regulated matter greater than 50kg and less than 100 kg whose application period is 10 working days and must have the presentation of a security plan signed by the organizing entity.
C- Pyrotechnic show with quantity of regulated matter greater than 100kg in which case it must be requested 15 days in advance and you need to have a mandatory report from the Industry and Energy area located in Pontevedra, accompanied by a safety and emergency plan and complementary documentation.
