The subdelegate of the Government, María Rivas, has today announced that 4,500 companies in the province of A Coruña, have already benefited from the Digital Kit program, launched by the Government and which is part of the Recovery Plan. In total 22.5 million euros destined to support the digitization of Coruña companies.
María Rivas visited the Confederation of Businessmen of A Coruña where she held a meeting with the president, Antonio Fontenla and highlighted “the important economic injection that these funds represent, which are transforming and modernizing our companies to make them more competitive”.
Both the deputy delegate and the president of the CEC have agreed that digitalization is a key aspect in business innovation and has become crucial for companies that want to compete in today’s market.
Several digitizing agents, responsible for accompanying companies throughout the digitization process, have also participated in this meeting. Sicasoft Solutions, Windsokc and dooingIT Cybersecurity are the three digitizing companies that have participated in the meeting explaining the need of their customers to detect and prioritize the digital needs of their businesses.
In addition, the CEO was one of the beneficiary companies of the Digital Kit, Atelier Gráfico Visual, Enrique Ulloa who has conveyed to the subdelegate the need for small companies to be part of the digital world, something that thanks to this tool is achieved.
María Rivas insisted that “the support of the Digital Kit is a great opportunity to make our companies more competitive, to have an online presence or to improve it” and stressed that both SMEs and self-employed have a very wide catalogue of digital services to which they can choose: from social networks to web pages, cybersecurity or positioning campaigns, among many others.
The Digital Kit, aimed at SMEs and self-employed people, offers financial assistance to companies that request it and provides them with the necessary digital tools to put into operation the service they have chosen. To this end, they are supported at all times by the digitizing agent that accompanies them throughout the process.
The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña has stressed the need to insist on the presence of these funds that “are already reaching all places, all municipalities and all companies between zero and 49 employees to help them both to enter and consolidate themselves in the digital world, a necessary step for which there is no turning back”.
For this program the Government has launched three calls: one of 12,000 euros for companies between 10 and less than 50 employees, open until March 15; another of 6,000 euros for companies between 3 and less than 10 employees that can be requested until September 2 and a third line of 2,000 euros for self-employed people with zero or less than three employees, open until October 20.
The subdelegate has encouraged all those companies that have not yet applied for the digital voucher to do so and has explained that to do so they can count on the help of the authorized digitizing agents who perform a diagnosis, tutela, orient and accompany them in that digitizing process.
