The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, confirmed today in Ourol the success of the plan "The Administration near you", with which the Government brought the administrative procedures closer to 88% of the Lucan municipalities. The subdelegate moved this morning to the Marignan town where this program promoted by the Ministry of Territorial Policy ended in the province, with the collaboration of the FEMP, “with which we advance in the territorial cohesion of rural municipalities, expanding rights and teaching neighbors to handle themselves with the digital tools offered by the State, making an Administration open and accessible to all citizens,” said Isabel Rodríguez.
The subdelegate said that after two months of the program, the Subdelegation of Lugo reached the 59 municipalities, with fewer than 8,000 inhabitants, which were planned to visit the province with this state plan, “those with greater difficulties of access to the Administration, so that they can meet their needs effectively.” In this regard, accompanied by the Mayor of Ourol, José Luis Pajón, the deputy delegate thanked the municipalities for their collaboration in the development of the “Administration near you” that benefited more than 137,000 neighbors who live in these villas.
During the meeting, Isabel Rodríguez stressed the commitment of the Government of Spain to attend to rural municipalities, highlighting that the demographic challenge is one of its main axes of action. “We work to provide people living outside cities and in small municipalities with access to essential public services, including the most common administrative procedures. They are initiatives that are in line with the demographic challenge policies, among which are the program of rural posters, which already allow to carry out procedures, shipments and payments from home, or the installation of ATMs in small towns” he concluded.
In the sessions scheduled in the municipalities, the staff of the Subdelegation processed more than 500 digital certificates of different types, among which the electronic certificate and the permanent Cl@ve stand out. In most cases, the people who attended also requested information on the most frequent procedures within the profile of each group: pensions, Social Security benefits, procedures with the General Directorate of Traffic, IMSERSO or Cadastre, services available at the electronic headquarters of the ministerial agencies and departments in the field of foreigners, justice, homologation and validation of studies, among others.
Isabel Rodríguez took advantage of the presentation of the plan in Ourol to recognize the work of the public officials of the Subdelegation who have been touring the towns voluntarily since November and resolving doubts in the neighborhood “so that public services are available in all parts of the territory.”
The catalogue of electronic services of the Government Delegation in Galicia offers 125 procedures in a telematic manner, among which are procedures related to the services of Foreigners; payment of fees; communication of mobilizations; validation of foreign university degrees or the presentation of complaints or suggestions to the Administration.
