The government delegate in Extremadura, José Luis Quintana, attended today in the Civil Guard Command in Badajoz the 47 new agents of the 171 promotion of the College of Young Guards Duque de Ahumada and the 130 of the Civil Guard Academy of Baeza that are incorporated in practice and will complete their training in the community of Extremadura. During this instructional phase, these agents will participate in different units of the Civil Guard to continue expanding their skills and knowledge necessary to effectively address the security challenges in the region.
In her speech, Quintana highlighted the importance of the work they do, a work that requires courage, sacrifice and a great vocation for service. “Extremadura is proud to have such prepared and dedicated agents, who will be able to carry out their work with responsibility, integrity and honor. The Civil Guard is a fundamental pillar in the defense of the values of our country, and you, as new agents, are part of that great family that works day by day for the well-being of all.
Finally, the government delegate has asked the agents in practice to “take advantage of the training they are going to receive, trust in their abilities, and always keep alive the spirit of service and responsibility that characterizes the Civil Guard.”
