The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is executing the works to improve the safety of vulnerable users with the construction of a variant on the N-521 road in Malpartida de Cáceres, province of Cáceres.
In this action, 48.575 million euros (VAT included) are being invested financed by the NextGenerationEU funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
The intervention includes, among other works, works on the connection between the N-521 and the A-66 motorway. Therefore, from Friday, June 27 at 9:00 am, link 551 will be closed on the A-66 direction Seville, with destination to Valencia de Alcántara/Portugal (N-521) and Cáceres Oeste.
Users will be able to use, as alternative itineraries, the link 555 of the A-66, in the connection with the N-523 road to Badajoz, or the link 545 to Cáceres Norte by the Las Capellanías Industrial Estate.
Traffic conditions at link 551 of the A-66 are expected to last 3 months.
