The government delegate in Extremadura, José Luis Quintana, visited today the facilities of Señorio de Montanera, an outstanding company in the agri-food sector of Extremadura that has established itself as a model of innovation and quality in the production of Iberian products.
During his visit, Quintana has highlighted Lordship of Montanera’s commitment to business development and excellence in its production processes. "This company not only represents the best of our region's agri-food tradition, but is also an example of how innovation and adaptation to new market demands can lead to success," said the government delegate.
Señorio de Montanera has been able to take advantage of various lines of aid from the Government of Spain, such as the agri-food PERTE, the aid of the CDTI and the Connected Industries program, to promote its growth and modernization. Thanks to these initiatives, the company has managed to improve its infrastructure and processes, which translates into a higher quality of its products.
A noteworthy fact of the company is that 35% of its production is destined to the international market, which demonstrates its ability to compete in a global environment. "The fact that Señorio de Montanera is exporting to other countries such as Korea, Japan, China, Canada or most European countries is a sign of the quality of our products and the potential that the Extremadura agri-food sector has in the world," added Quintana.
The visit of the government delegate coincides with a time of growth for Lordship of Montanera, who continues to work to consolidate his position as a leader in the production of Iberians and as a reference in the sector.
