The government delegate in Extremadura, José Luis Quintana, highlighted today in Guareña the importance of collaboration between administrations to ensure progress and development in our region. Quintana has participated today in the presentation of the rehabilitation and conditioning works of the road that connects Guareña with Santa Amalia and to which an investment of around 6 million euros will be allocated.
In his speech, the government delegate pointed out this type of projects not only represents a substantial investment, but also symbolizes the commitment of the administrations in the construction of a more prosperous future for the province of Badajoz and for Extremadura.
Quintana has stressed that these investments are fundamental for the structuring of the territory, since promoting a quality infrastructure translates into developing economic opportunities, improving access to services and promoting the social cohesion of the territory.
The creation of this service route will not only benefit other localities such as Valdetorres or Yelbes but will also play a vital role in optimizing the provision of services that are essential for agriculture and the economy in the area.
“The union of efforts between the Government of Spain, through the Guadiana Hydrographic Confederation, the Junta de Extremadura and the Diputación de Badajoz is a clear example of what we can achieve when we work together towards a common goal.”
Quintana recalled that the Government of Spain has a firm commitment to Extremadura in this area. “But we need to create synergies that allow us to optimize our resources. Investing in infrastructure is investing in our future, in our land, and in our people.”
